BETHLEHEM, February 16, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces issued stop-work orders today for 15 homes in the town of Tuqu', southeast of Bethlehem.
Tuqu' Municipal Council Director Tayseer Abu Mufreh told WAFA that occupation forces raided the "Al-Masabih" area, east of the town, and delivered halt on construction orders for 15 homes belonging to residents from the Abu Mufreh, Arouj, Hamid, and Jibril families, claiming they lacked building permits.
Abu Mufreh noted that the occupation forces had also issued stop-work orders a few days earlier for more than 20 homes in the "Al-Halqum" area, southwest of the town.
