BEIRUT, February 16, 2026 (WAFA) – Four Lebanese citizens were killed Monday morning in a drone strike carried out by the Israeli occupation forces targeting a vehicle in eastern Lebanon near the Syrian border.
The National News Agency reported that an Israeli drone targeted a car on the Lebanese-Syrian border, killing the four people inside.
In a related incident, Israeli forces raided the outskirts of the towns of Aita al-Shaab and Ramiya in the Bint Jbeil district of southern Lebanon at dawn. They planted explosives in a house and detonated it, completely destroying it.
Also this morning, an Israeli drone launched an airstrike with several missiles targeting two vehicles in the town of Hanin, near Bint Jbeil. The vehicles were set ablaze, and one person was injured.
