JERUSALEM, February 15, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities on Sunday evening issued new demolition notices in the Bedouin communities of Wadi al-Awaj and Wadi Sa’ab, east of occupied Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Governorate said in a statement that these measures aim to pressure Palestinian residents and forcibly displace them from their areas, as part of an ongoing campaign of demolitions and evacuations targeting Palestinian homes and structures in East Jerusalem.
The Governorate stressed that these policies constitute a blatant violation of Palestinians’ right to housing and stability, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities in protecting civilians and preventing the continuation of such practices.
