RAMALLAH, February 15, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah) affirmed that the Israeli occupation regime's attempts to "legalize" its confiscation and seizure of Palestinian lands will not confer any legitimacy upon them. Fatah added that the Israeli government's approval of designating West Bank lands as "state property" constitutes a blatant falsification of established historical facts and a flagrant violation of international law, relevant UN resolutions, and agreements.
In a statement issued by its Commission of Information, Culture, and Intellectual Mobilization on Sunday, Fatah added that these illegitimate decisions are a practical implementation of annexation and displacement plans. This will not deter our people from continuing their legitimate national struggle, nor will it weaken their unwavering will, which will thwart all colonial projects. The Palestinian territories constitute a single, indivisible political, geographical, and legal unit, which cannot be fragmented by decisions or measures through which the occupying regime seeks to impose a fait accompli that undermines our people's national and historical rights.
Fatah called on the international community to take the initiative in halting the decisions and measures of the colonial occupying regime, which will only exacerbate and inflame the situation. It clarified that the actions of this regime, led by extremist right-wing elements, disregard the international community's efforts to establish peace and stability. Fatah warned that mere condemnations will only embolden the occupying regime to implement its genocidal plans and schemes against our people and their just national cause.
