GAZA, February 15, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man named Khader Yousef Fayyad succumbed to his wounds 20 days after being injured in an Israeli attack in the central Gaza Strip.

Local sources said that Israeli forces targeted civilian homes east of Deir al-Balah on Sunday evening with heavy gunfire from armored vehicles that advanced from the Kissufim military site southeast of the city, reaching the vicinity of a pharmaceutical factory.

Earlier in the day, three Palestinians were killed and others wounded in Israeli shelling of Gaza City and Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.

Medical sources stated that the total number of Palestinians admitted to Gaza hospitals in the past 24 hours reached 11, with 9 injuries. Several victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, as rescue teams have been unable to reach them.

The sources indicated that the total number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 601, while the total number of injuries has reached 1,607. A total of 726 bodies have been recovered.
