Colonists attack Palestinians and livestock in Jericho area

JERICHO, February 14, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists attacked Palestinian residents and their livestock today in the Wadi Abu al-Hayyat area north of Jericho, east of the occupied West Bank, local sources reported.

Hassan Mleihat, the global supervisor for the Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, said the attacks continued for the second day in the Wadi Abu al-Hayyat area north of Jericho. Colonists drove their herds into residents' flocks, causing damage to farms and livestock.

Mleihat added that colonists chased the sheep of resident Youssef Rahmat while they were grazing in the area. He noted that local residents have been repeatedly displaced from the area due to ongoing attacks by colonists and the Israeli army.
