Suffocation cases reported during Israeli forces’ raid on Hebron-area town

HEBRON, February 13, 2026 (WAFA) – Several Palestinian citizens suffocated from tear gas on Friday night during an Israeli military incursion into the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, according to a local activist.

Media activist Mohammad Awad stated that Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters toward citizens, their homes, and their shops, causing several people to suffocate.

The occupation forces also closed the shops in the town center and took over the rooftops of several homes and shops, turning them into military observation points.
