Israeli forces fire tear gas at worshippers in Ramallah and surround mosque near Nablus

RAMALLAH, February 13, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces fired tear gas toward worshippers at a mosque in the town of Kafr Malek, east of Ramallah, on Friday, according to local sources.

Local activist Jihad al-Qaq told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed the town and launched stun grenades and tear gas at worshippers inside the Kafr Malek mosque in the center of the town. No injuries were reported.

Meantime, Israeli forces surrounded a mosque in the village of Talfit, south of Nablus. Local sources said Israeli forces surrounded the village mosque as worshippers were leaving after Friday prayers.

Earlier in the day, settlers attacked residents in Talfit, assaulting them and firing live ammunition, wounding a young man in the thigh and leaving several others with injuries and bruises. They also smashed the windows of several vehicles.

Witnesses said Israeli forces provided protection to the settlers and fired live rounds, stun grenades and tear gas at residents and their homes, causing cases of suffocation.
