Colonists attack residents and shepherds in northern Jordan Valley

JORDAN VALLEY, February 13, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists attacked local Palestinian residents on Friday in the Bedouin community of Khallet Makhoul in the northern Jordan Valley, northeast of the occupied West Bank, local sources reported.

Mahdi Daraghmeh, head of the Al-Maleh Village Council, said colonists assaulted residents while they were tending their livestock near their tents in Khallet Makhoul.

In a related development, the Palestinian Prisoner's Society said Israeli forces detained resident Youssef Bisharat, his wife, and their child while they were near their tents in the area.

Local sources also reported that colonists forced shepherds to leave grazing lands in the village of Bardala in the northern Jordan Valley.
