JERUSALEM, February 13, 2026 (WAFA) — A young Palestinian man was shot by Israeli occupation forces early on Friday in the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem, according to local sources.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its teams treated the young man for a live bullet wound to the thigh near the Israeli segregation wall in Al-Ram. He was then transported to hospital for further care.
The Jerusalem Governorate recorded over 70 confirmed injuries to Palestinian workers in Al-Ram and its surroundings during 2025, caused by live or rubber-coated bullets fired directly by Israeli forces.
Most injuries were to the lower limbs, suggesting deliberate targeting to maim or disable. Officials noted that the actual number of injuries may be higher, as many workers avoid documenting incidents out of fear of Israeli reprisals.
