BETHLEHEM, February 11, 2026 (WAFA) -Three Palestinians on Wednesday evening sustained injuries in an attack by Israeli colonists in al-Malha area, east of the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem, according to security sources.
They reported that colonists stormed the area and assaulted the inhabitants, resulting in three injuries. One inhabitant sustained an injury in the foot, and the two others sustained bruises.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, attacks on vulnerable homes, chasing farmers and shepherds, among others. Such acts of violence are part of the ongoing and intensifying attempts by colonists, backed by the Israeli authorities, to forcibly displace Palestinians as part of the larger ethnic cleansing taking place in the West Bank
Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
