HEBRON, February 11, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained two Palestinian brothers and several international solidarity activists on Wednesday following an attack by Israeli colonists in the town of Tarqumiya, northwest of Hebron.
Activist Suleiman Jaafra told WAFA that a group of colonists from a newly established outpost on Palestinian land near Marah Abu Ra'iya in the town, under the protection of Israeli forces, attacked the home of Ibrahim Muhammad Qabaja and attempted to assault him.
Subsequently, Israeli troops detained Qabaja, his brother Khalil, and several international activists who were present at the scene.
Qabaja had previously been forcibly evicted from his home due to repeated colonist attacks that posed a serious threat to his life and the lives of his family. Despite this, he returned to his home, and a group of international activists attempted to support the residents and document and document ongoing colonist violations.
