JERICHO, February 11, 2026 (WAFA) – The ongoing attacks carried out by Israeli colonists on the village of Deir al-Dik, west of Jericho, have forced 15 families to leave their homes, coinciding with land-leveling operations that have affected surrounding areas.
Issam Samrat, secretary of the Fatah movement in Deir al-Dik, told WAFA that the affected families were forced to leave their own-homes in the As-Satih area, under threat from colonists who plowed and leveled the land surrounding their homes, preventing Palestinian residents from using it.
According to the Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, the 15 families are from the Al-Ara’ra clan, noting that the leveling operations have directly caused extensive damage to agricultural lands.
