RAMALLAH, February 10, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday evening detained a Palestinian victim of a colonist attack in al-Mughayyir village, northeast of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to a local source.
Amin Abu Alya, head of the village council, said that armed Israeli colonists attacked the western outskirts of the village, assaulted a youth, and attempted to kidnap him.
Some of the villagers rushed to the rescue of the youth, but they came under fire from the colonists.
The occupation forces stormed the area, where they opened fire at the villagers and eventually beat up and detained the victim.
