Israeli authorities issue order banning two Jerusalemite citizens from Al-Aqsa Mosque

JERUSALEM, February 10, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities issued a decision on Tuesday banning two Palestinian citizens from Jerusalem from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

The Jerusalem Governorate said that the occupation authorities expelled Qaqa'a Bakirat and released prisoner Muhammad Abu al-Hamam, both from the Silwan neighborhood, from the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound for one-week subject to renewal.

This expulsion is part of an ongoing policy targeting Jerusalemites and restricting their right to access the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
