GAZA, February 9, 2026 (WAFA) – An Israeli strike on Monday evening killed a Palestinian and injured several others in western Gaza City, according to WAFA correspondent.

He reported that an Israeli fighter jet targeted an apartment on Naser Street, killing at least one civilian and injuring several others. The strike damaged nearby tents.

Medical sources in a-Shifa Hospital confirmed that the body of a slain Palestinian and five casualties were rushed to the hospital in the aftermath of the strike.

Meanwhile, Israeli army vehicles stationed at As-Sourani Mount, east of Gaza City, opened intensive fire, resulting in several casualties. They also opened indiscriminate fire at the Sabra neighborhood, south of the city.
