JERUSALEM, February 9, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces raided Shuafat refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, on Monday, amid heavy deployment across its streets and neighborhoods, according to local sources.

Sources told WAFA that Israeli forces fired tear tear gas canisters during the raid, causing tension in the area, with no injuries reported.

In a related development, the occupation authorities handed two Jerusalemite youths orders barring them from entering the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque for one week, renewable, as part of the ongoing policy of expulsion targeting Jerusalemites.

These measures are part of the escalating and restrictive policies pursued by the occupation authorities against the people of Jerusalem, and their ongoing targeting of worshippers and those maintaining a presence at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
