Palestinian man killed from Israeli army fire in northern Gaza

GAZA, February 9, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli gunfire killed on Monday evening a Palestinian man in northern Gaza.

Local sources said  that Nabil Muhammad Ahmad al-Rahal, 54, was killed after being shot by Israeli forces in Beit Lahia, in what they described as another violation of the ceasefire agreement.

Furthermore, Israeli military vehicles opened fire on al-Falah School in the Asqoula area of ​​the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

Since the ceasefire entered into effect on 11 October 2025, the total number of Palestinians killed by Israeli attacks has risen to 583, with 1,544 injuries recorded, and 717 bodies recovered.
