RAMALLAH, February 9, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces demolished on Monday a Palestinian house in the town of Shuqba, west of Ramallah.
According to local sources, Israeli forces, accompanied by a military bulldozer, stormed the northern area of the village and began demolishing the one-story house of Ahmad Abdul Aziz Qadah, which covered half a dunam of land, under the pretext of building without a permit.
Israeli forces also demolished a shed belonging to a resident from the Sultan family in the Al-Buweira area, east of the occupied West Bank city of Hebron.
According to a report by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli authorities carried out a total of 538 demolition operations last year, resulting in the destruction of 1,400 structures, including 304 inhabited homes and 74 uninhabited homes, in addition to 270 livelihoods and 490 agricultural facilities.
The demolitions were concentrated in the governorates of Hebron, Jerusalem, Ramallah, Tubas, and Nablus.
