HEBRON, February 9, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was shot and wounded by Israeli forces, and another was severely beaten, on Monday in the towns of Idhna and Beit Ula in the Hebron Governorate.
Security and medical sources told WAFA that a man in his twenties was shot in the leg by live ammunition fired by Israeli forces while he was near the separation wall in Wadi al-Khail in the town of Idhna, west of Hebron. He was transported by Red Crescent crews for treatment, and his condition was described as moderate.
Israeli forces also raided the town of Beit Ula, northwest of Hebron, closing several roads with earth mounds and searching several homes. Troops severely beat a young man named Sakher al-Ajouri, causing him bruises and contusions. He was also taken to a hospital for treatment.
The occupation forces also closed the rugged access roads connecting the town of Idhna to bypass road 35 with earth mounds.
In the village of Susya in the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, the occupation forces detained teacher Khader Al-Nawaj’ah for an hour, while he was heading to the Palestine Basic Mixed School located in Khirbet Ashkara in Masafer Yatta.
