Israeli forces detain 20 Palestinians during West Bank raids

RAMALLAH, February 9, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained more than 20 Palestinians during a large-scale detention operations across the occupied  West Bank on Monday, including two children and two women.

Among those detained  was Iyad Nazmi Awais from the village of Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus.

In Ramallah, Israeli forces detained three Palestinians, Wafaa Yousef Abu Ghalmi, after raiding her home in the Al-Tira neighborhood; and brothers Raef and Ramzi Abdullah Khoury, after raiding their homes in the village of Al-Taybeh.

In Hebron, six Palestinians were detained by Israeli forces. Troops conducted two military raids on Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron; and the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, detaining two people, including a 15-year-old.

Israeli forces detained seven Palestinians from the town of Ya'bad, south of Jenin.

In Nablus, occupation forces detained four Palestinians, including a young woman.
