RAMALLAH, February 9, 2026 (WAFA) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed its absolute rejection and condemnation of the Israeli cabinet's approval of a series of decisions aimed at imposing a new reality through colonization and altering the legal status and status of the occupied Palestinian territory, including Jerusalem.

In a statement issued Monday, the OIC affirmed that Israel's colonial settlement policy constitutes a war crime and a flagrant violation of international law and relevant UN resolutions, most notably Security Council Resolution 2334, as well as the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice.

The OIC reiterated its call upon the international community, particularly the Security Council, to assume its responsibilities and take immediate action to end all crimes and violations committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, their land, and their holy sites.
