GAZA, February 8, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian child was killed after being shot by Israeli forces on Sunday evening in southeastern Gaza City.
Medical sources reported that 16-year-old Mohammed al-Sarhi was shot dead by Israeli forces near the Salah al-Din Mosque in the Zeitoun neighborhood of southeastern Gaza City, bringing the death toll since the morning to four.
The total number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire agreement of October 11 has risen to 580, with 1,544 wounded and 717 bodies recovered.
