RAMALLAH, February 8, 2026 (WAFA) – In a new attack against Palestinians and their proprieties, Israeli colonists Sunday evening destroyed a cave belonging to Thaer Naasan in the al-Khalayleh area, south of Al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah, for the second time in a row.
According to local sources, Israeli forces accompanied the colonists during the assault and prevented residents from approaching the area, enabling the colonists to completely demolish the cave.
The sources added that Israeli soldiers along with several colonists were also stationed near the farm of citizen Murad Abu Alia, east of Al-Mughayyir, a move that raised concerns among residents about attempts to seize the surrounding agricultural land.
In a related incident, colonists stormed agricultural lands and areas between houses on the outskirts of Sinjil, north of Ramallah, causing tension and fear among residents.
These attacks are part of a series of ongoing assaults carried out by colonists against Palestinian villages, aimed at imposing new facts on the ground and seizing more agricultural land.
