JORDAN VALLEY, February 7, 2026 (WAFA) — Three Palestinian youths were injured on Saturday after Israeli colonists attacked civilians in the northern Jordan Valley, according to medical sources.
Palestinian Red Crescent teams said they treated three people who sustained injuries from beatings during an attack carried out by colonists on the Al-Makhba area. One of the injured was transferred to hospital, while the other two were treated at the scene.
In recent years, attacks by Israeli colonists against Palestinians have sharply increased across the occupied West Bank, including the Jordan Valley, involving physical assaults, arson, vandalism of property, destruction of farmland, and intimidation of rural and Bedouin communities.
The escalation is linked to policies and rhetoric of the current Israeli government coalition led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which includes far-right parties and ministers who openly support the expansion of colonies and provide political backing and protection for colonist groups.
