JORDAN VALLEY, February 7, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists forced Saturday Palestinian shepherds in multiple areas of the northern Jordan Valley to leave their grazing lands.
According to local sources, dozens of Israeli colonists forced shepherds in Jordan Valley to abandon their pastures, preventing them from grazing their livestock and expelling them.
Colonists have intensified their attacks against Palestinians and their properties throughout the northern Jordan Valley in recent days in an apparent attempt to forcibly expel them out of their lands in order to facilitate expanding more colonies.
In a similar incident, Hassan Mleihat, the general supervisor of the Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, told WAFA that dozens of colonists grazed their sheep among the homes of Palestinians in the Fasayil al-Wusta area, north of Jericho. Colonists also broke into the home of the Ubayyat family.
He noted that this incursion is part of an escalating pattern of violations against Palestinians and their properties in the area.
