JERUSALEM, February 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Friday banned a Palestinian entry into Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the occupied West Bank city of Jerusalem, according to the Jerusalem Governorate.
It said that the occupying forces handed a Palestinian from Silwan neighborhood an order, banning him from al-Aqsa Mosque for one week and requiring him to reappear at the end of this period, whereupon the order can be renewed.
It added that the occupation court extended the detention of two Palestinians until Saturday, noting that they were rounded up on today from the vicinity of the mosque compound.
