GAZA, February 6, 2026 (WAFA) — Two Palestinians were killed on Friday by Israeli occupation forces in Beit Lahia and Jabalia in northern Gaza, while a woman was injured by gunfire east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, in breach of the ceasefire agreement, local sources reported.
Simultaneously, the Israeli occupation army carried out extensive demolitions early on Friday, targeting residential buildings across several areas of the Gaza Strip as part of its policy of destroying urban blocks.
WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces demolished residential buildings northeast of Gaza City and carried out additional demolitions targeting structures in northern Gaza, amid loud explosions.
In Khan Younis, the occupation army carried out new demolitions in the southeast of the city, while heavy artillery fire targeted the eastern and southern areas of the province.
In Rafah, Israeli warplanes fired heavily on the city alongside shelling from military vehicles stationed there.
Last night, Israeli airstrikes hit the home of the Abu Hatab family in Khan Yunis refugee camp. There were no immediate reports of casualties.
