Palestinian teen shot by Israeli forces in Beita, ambulance access blocked

NABLUS, February 5, 2026 (WAFA) — A 16-year-old boy was shot by live fire from Israeli forces on Thursday in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, according to local and medical sources.

Eid Ahmed, director of the Red Crescent Emergency and Ambulance Center in Nablus, reported that the boy was shot and that Israeli forces prevented ambulances from reaching him.

According to WAFA correspondent, Israeli forces stormed Beita, firing live ammunition and tear gas at residents, resulting in the teenager being hit in the back. Soldiers are reportedly still holding the injured boy and obstructing medical teams from providing treatment.

Efforts are underway in coordination with the Red Cross to transfer him for care, said the correspondent.
