JORDAN VALLEY, February 5, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attempted on Thursday to steal a herd of livestock belonging to a Palestinian shepherd in the village of Bardala in the northern Jordan Valley.
According to local sources, a group of Israeli colonists chased the shepherds and tried to steal the herd before the villagers intervened and freed the cattle.
The sources added that Israeli forces arrived at the scene and detained several young men who were present.
The northern Jordan Valley has witnessed a dangerous escalation in colonist attacks against Palestinian civilians and their properties.
