QALQILYA, February 5, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces have continued on Thursday, for the fifth consecutive day, the closure of the main western entrance to the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, further exacerbating the suffering of residents and restricting their movement.
According to local sources, Israeli troops shut down the western entrance, known as the “Azzun–Izbet Al-Tabib Road”, with earth mounds at dawn last Saturday.
The road serves as the only alternative access route after the main northern entrance, which has been closed for over two years with an iron gate following the Israeli aggression on Gaza, severely hindering the movement of residents.
