Israeli colonists uproot over 300 olive trees in Ramallah area

RAMALLAH, February 5, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists uprooted 300 olive trees in Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah.

Local sources said that dozens of colonists uprooted around 300 olive trees in the vicinity of Awad's house, which has been subjected to repeated attacks, in the Turmus Ayya plain north of Ramallah.

Colonists have carried out 349 acts of vandalism and theft against Palestinian properties, affecting vast areas of land. The attacks, guarded by the Israeli army, have also resulted in the uprooting, damaging, and poisoning of 1,245 olive trees in the following governorates, Hebron (750 trees), Ramallah (245), and Nablus (250).

Additionally, Israeli forces also destroyed 151,000 tobacco seedlings belonging to residents of Jenin Governorate.
