GAZA, February 4, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces handed over on Wednesday evening the bodies of 54 slain Palestinians and 66 boxes containing remains and body parts of others, via the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
Sources confirmed that the bodies were transported to the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City, where medical teams are continuing to handle them according to approved medical procedures and protocols.
This is being done in coordination with relevant authorities and committees to complete the examination and documentation processes before handing them over to their families.
