JORDAN VALLEY, February 4, 2026 (WAFA) – Israel colonists on Wednesday sabotaged Palestinian farmers’ crops in Khirbet Samra in the northern Jordan Valley, according to local sources.
They said that colonists set their cows to graze on Palestinian farmers’ wheat and barely crops in the community, destroying them.
Khribet Samra has become the target of Israeli colonist attacks, which have escalated since the beginning of February. Colonists have set up a tent near the community dwellings and have been using the tent as a launching pad for attacks against the community.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, attacks on vulnerable homes, chasing farmers and shepherds, among others. Such acts of violence are part of the ongoing and intensifying attempts by colonists, backed by the Israeli authorities, to forcibly displace Palestinians as part of the larger ethnic cleansing taking place in the West Bank
Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
