Israeli authorities issue stop-work orders on home, structure, and water line southwest of Hebron

HEBRON, February 4, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation authorities on Wednesday issued stop-work orders on a house, an agricultural structure, and a water pipeline southwest of Hebron, according to local sources.

The head of the village council of Sikka, near the town of Dura, southwest of Hebron, said Israeli authorities ordered a halt to construction on a house belonging to a local Palestinian citizen and an agricultural shed owned by another one.

Meanwhile, the head of the village council in nearby Beit al-Roush al-Tahta, Yousef Abdul Qader Amr, said occupation forces also issued a stop-work order on a water pipeline near the village. The pipeline extends four kilometers and serves dozens of farmers. The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture.
