RAMALLAH, February 4, 2026 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa met Wednesday at his office in Ramallah with a delegation from the village of Al-Mughayyir, in the presence of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governor Laila Ghannam, Minister of Local Government Sami Hijjawi, and Head of the Commission Against the Wall and Settlements Mu'ayyad Sha'ban.
The Prime Minister was briefed by Al-Mughayyir Mayor Amin Abu Aliya and members of the delegation on the immense suffering endured by the village's residents due to the brutal Israeli attacks and daily targeting by occupation forces and colonists, as well as the necessary support to bolster the resilience of the residents in the village and its surrounding areas.
On behalf of President Mahmoud Abbas and the government, the Prime Minister commended the Palestinian people in all areas targeted by the occupation and colonists, particularly Al-Mughayyir and the eastern villages of the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, for their exceptional steadfastness in the face of the fierce attacks aimed at displacing them from their lands.
Mustafa affirmed his commitment to providing all possible support to bolster the resilience of the residents and to assessing the village's needs through relevant institutions to address as many urgent and pressing requirements as possible.
For their part, the delegation expressed their gratitude for the government's support, including legal aid and emergency relief, aimed at strengthening the resilience of the residents through relevant ministries and agencies. They emphasized their continued commitment to steadfastness and resistance against the occupation's plans to displace them from their land.
