GAZA, February 4, 2026 (WAFA) – Nine Palestinians were killed and others wounded early Wednesday morning when Israeli artillery shelled tents and homes east of Gaza City and south of Khan Younis.

Medical sources said that five Palestinians, including a child, were killed and others wounded when Israeli artillery shelled tents and homes in the Zeitoun and Tuffah neighborhoods east of Gaza City.

The sources added that four other Palestinians were killed and others wounded when Israeli artillery shelled tents of displaced people in the Qizan Rashwan area south of Khan Younis.

Since the ceasefire agreement last October, 529 Palestinians have been killed and more than 1,460 others wounded.
