JERUSALEM, February 3, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces raided the towns of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, and Hizma, northeast of Jerusalem, on Tuesday morning.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that tax department personnel from the Israeli-controlled Jerusalem municipality raided and searched several shops in the al-Abbasiya neighborhood of Silwan.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces raided Hizma and patrolled its streets with military vehicles.
