Ramallah, February 3, 2026 (WAFA) – The country is affected today, Tuesday, by a low-pressure system, bringing cloudy and cold to very cold weather, with a significant drop in temperatures and scattered showers across various regions. These showers may be heavy at times and accompanied by thunderstorms and occasional hail, according to Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds will be westerly to southwesterly, brisk with occasional strong gusts reaching up to 60 km/h. Sea waves will be high.
During the evening and night, the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy and cold, especially in the mountainous areas, with scattered showers. Winds will be northwesterly to westerly, moderate to brisk. Sea waves will be moderate to high.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, the weather will be partly cloudy, with a slight rise in temperatures, remaining cold, especially in the mountainous areas. Winds will be northwesterly to southeasterly, moderate. Sea waves will be moderate to high.
On Thursday, the weather will be partly cloudy, with a noticeable rise in temperatures, remaining relatively cold in the highlands. Winds will be moderate southeasterly. Sea waves will be low.
On Friday, the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy, mild during the day and cool at night, with temperatures continuing to rise. Winds will be moderate southeasterly. Sea waves will be moderately high.
The PMD warned today, Tuesday, of the risk of flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas, strong winds, and slippery roads.
