GAZA, February 2, 2026 (WAFA) — An elderly man was injured by fire from an Israeli drone this evening near the Abu Sharkh roundabout in the northern Gaza Strip, while another civilian sustained injuries from stray bullets fired indiscriminately by Israeli occupation forces.

Local sources said Ahmed Rayan Abu Kanan, the owner of a kiosk in the al-Faluja area of Jabalia, was injured after being hit by stray gunfire. Separately, a fire broke out in a displacement tent inside Halawa camp in Jabalia as a result of indiscriminate Israeli fire, causing material damage without reported injuries.

Since the ceasefire that came into effect on 11 October, at least 526 people have been killed and 1,447 injured, while 717 bodies have been recovered.
