JERUSALEM, February 2, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Monday turned a Palestinian home into a military post after storming and seizing it in the town of Hizma, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources said occupation forces raided the town and deployed throughout its surroundings before breaking into the Abu Al-Hilu family home, forcing the family to leave at gunpoint, and converting it into a military position as part of an ongoing crackdown in the area.
Hizma is subjected to repeated incursions by Israeli occupation forces from time to time, including home raids and the conversion of houses into military posts, in violation of residents' rights and adding to their daily suffering.
