Israeli colonists attack Qusra, south of Nablus, under army protection

NABLUS, February 2, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, on Monday evening under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.

Local sources reported that the colonists assaulted the Ras al-Ain area southwest of the town, triggering clashes in the vicinity as Israeli forces deployed to secure the colonists' attack.

The sources added that Israeli forces raided the town, obstructed a civilian vehicle, and searched its driver, but no detentions were reported.

Qusra and surrounding villages in southern Nablus are frequently targeted by Israeli colonists, often under army protection. Such attacks typically involve property damage, harassment of residents, and intimidation of farmers, contributing to a climate of fear and displacement.
