NABLUS, February 2, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces seized a vehicle in the village of Zita Jamma'in, southwest of Nablus, and raided several villages in the governorate early Monday morning.

Local and security sources reported that military vehicles stormed the villages of Zita Jamma'in, southwest of Nablus, and Jamma'in, south of Nablus, raiding and searching homes, damaging their contents, and seizing a vehicle belonging to recently released prisoner Raed Kanaan.

The sources added that Israeli forces also raided several other villages in the governorate at dawn, including Jurish, Sebastia, Qusra, Beit Furik, Madama, and Naqoura, though no detentions were reported.

They also noted that Israeli forces set up a checkpoint this morning at the entrance to the village of Jurish, southeast of Nablus, and searched vehicles and checked the IDs of Palestinian residents.
