BERUIT, February 1, 2026 (WAFA) – A Lebanese civilian was killed and others were wounded in Israeli airstrikes, drone attacks, and ongoing incursions into southern Lebanon.

The attacks included the intense bombardment of homes and the targeting of civilian vehicles and equipment, in an escalation that affected several towns.

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced on Sunday evening the killing of one civilian and the wounding of three others as a result of an Israeli airstrike on the town of Abba in southern Lebanon.

Later, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that "an enemy drone targeted a vehicle in the town square of Harouf, causing it to catch fire.

The agency added that "ambulances and civil defense teams rushed to the scene. One person was reported injured."

Earlier, two people were wounded in an Israeli shelling that targeted various areas of southern Lebanon, while the Israeli army bombed two houses during an incursion it carried out early Sunday morning in the Marjeyoun district.
