RAMALLAH, February 1, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces shut down Sunday eveningthe entrances leading to the town of Tuqu', southeast of Bethlehem.
The mayor of Tuqu', Tayseer Abu Mufreh, told WAFA correspondent that Israeli soldiers closed the secondary entrances in Khirbet al-Deir, the al-Halqum area, and the Sbeih family area with iron gates.\
He noted that the northern and western entrances to the town have been closed since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
