Two children injured by Israeli fire during raid on Al-Jalazon camp north of Ramallah

RAMALLAH, January 31, 2025 (WAFA) – Two Palestinian children were injured by Israeli occupation fire on Saturday evening during a raid on Al-Jalazon refugee camp north of Ramallah, according to Palestinian security sources.

The sources told WAFA that confrontations erupted between residents and Israeli forces following the raid, during which troops opened live fire at civilians. A 15-year-old boy was shot in the foot, while a 16-year-old boy sustained injuries from bullet shrapnel in the shoulder.

In related incidents, confrontations broke out between residents and Israeli forces following an Israeli raid on the town of Turmus Ayya northeast of Ramallah, though no detentions were reported.

Israeli forces also raided the nearby villages of Kafr Malek and Abu Falah, as well as the town of Deir Dibwan east of Ramallah, without any reports of detentions, the sources added.

Earlier, Israeli forces had raided the city of Al-Bireh and the surrounding areas of Al-Am'ari refugee camp and Um Al-Sharayet neighborhood, with no detentions reported.
