QALQILYA, January 31, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Saturday forced a Palestinian from the town of Kafr Thulth, south of Qalqilya, to carry out the self-demolition of his industrial facility.
Local sources told WAFA that Israeli forces compelled Kamal Saeed Shawahneh to demolish his marble factory located east of the town. The facility, built on an area of about 300 square meters, suffered material losses estimated at more than $26,000, under the pretext of construction without a permit.
The sources added that Israeli forces threatened Shawahneh with heavy fines if he did not carry out the demolition himself, noting that he had previously received a stop-work order for the factory in 2018 before being forced to demolish it this year.
