JERICHO, January 31, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists forced a Palestinian family to leave the village of Al-Auja, north of Jericho, after they had already been forcibly displaced from the Bedouin community of Shalal Al-Auja.
According to local sources, the family had been forcibly displaced from Shallah Al-Auja about a week ago and sought refuge in the village of Al-Auja, but were forced to leave again due to repeated colonist attacks.
The Al-Baydar human rights organization noted that a series of ongoing harassments and attacks carried out by colonists have led to the displacement of dozens of families from Shallah Al-Auja, bringing the total number of displaced families to 79.
