HEBRON, January 29, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian teen on Thursday evening sustained an injury from Israeli army fire in Beit Ummar town, north of the occupied West Bank city of Hebron, according to a media activist.
Mohammad Awad said that a convoy of Israeli army vehicles stormed the town, where deployed soldiers prevented the inhabitants from reaching the local mosque for the Isha prayer and opened fire at local youths, injuring a 17-year-old in the foot.
The soldiers even chased the casualty, attempting to detain him. The latter was eventually rushed to a hospital for treatment.
