Israeli forces demolish shack, issue stop-work orders for agricultural rooms west of Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, January 29, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Thursday demolished a Palestinian-owned wooden shack and issued stop-work orders for two agricultural rooms in the town of Battir, west of Bethlehem, according to a local official.

Zaki Al-Batma, head of Battir Municipality, told WAFA that Israeli forces demolished a wooden shack in the Khirbet Badr area, east of the town, citing the lack of an Israeli-issued permit.

Israeli forces also issued stop-work orders for two agricultural rooms belonging to local residents in the same area.
